We collect your phone number (your login), your bid and payment history, and basic transaction details for payments made through Chapa (such as reference numbers and amounts). We never see or store full payment details like card numbers — that is handled entirely by Chapa.
We use your information to manage your account, run auctions, verify payments, respond to support requests, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your information to third parties for advertising.
We share the information necessary to process a payment (phone number, name, amount) with our payment processor, Chapa. Beyond that, we do not share your information with other parties except where required by law.
Your PIN is stored hashed — we never store it as plain text. We rate-limit repeated incorrect PIN attempts and apply extra verification steps for higher-risk actions to help keep your account secure.
We retain payment and bid records for a reasonable period for accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your account, your personal data is removed; anonymized auction-result records may be kept for the platform's transparency.
You have the right to see, correct, or request deletion of the information we hold about you. Reach out through our support contact to do so.
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember preferences like your language choice. We do not use advertising-tracking cookies.
